Lita Stassen
About Me
I am creative, dynamic, and independent person with a background in tourism. The great interest of mine are focus on indigenous community and marine environment. Allied to this, I enjoy travelling to remote areas to learn the ocal culture and traditions as well as exploring the nature by diving, rafting, and trekking.
My other great interest is in the area of cultural performances. I have been involved in Indonesian traditional dancing at a competitive level for many years. I also have participated in many festivals both national and international.
Furthermore, my interest in tourism, have allow me to build my professional experiences in field of ecotourism with the main focus on community and product development. During my professional practices I possessed a number of successful tasks, which included development of cultural peformances for Dayak people, designed ecotour activities and packages for Java-Bali routes; developed ecotour activities in Bukit 30 National Park (with the indigenous “Talang mamak”); created new themes of ecotour on eco-spa tour Java-Bali; and conducted a number of researches on feasibility studies with regards to ecotourism, cultural performances, and community development.
